(“CIX”), the next-generation Canadian alternative trading system, today announced that Iress, a leading global provider of trading and market data technology, has successfully completed certification with the CIX platform. This comes ahead of a planned integration between CIX and Iress, expected to go live later this year.
This milestone represents a significant step forward in CIX’s ongoing onboarding of broker-dealers and technology partners, ensuring seamless connectivity and readiness ahead of launch.
Iress is used widely by Canadian and global dealers to access equity markets, and its certification enables clients to efficiently connect to CIX through existing workflows. The forthcoming integration is expected to accelerate adoption by providing market participants with immediate access to CIX’s innovative market structure and functionality.
